Jasen Rauch is the former rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band Red. Although he is no longer a member, Jasen is still the primary songwriter for Red. He was a founder of the band along with Anthony and Randy Armstrong when they moved from Erie, Pennsylvania to Nashville, Tennessee to focus on their career.[1] Jasen currently has written all of Red's material, aside from "Pieces", "Intro (Canto III)’’ and "Ordinary World".[2] Jasen uses PRS Guitars.[3]
Jasen co-wrote and worked with bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Pillar,[4] and with Rob Graves in making a score for the upcoming film, Into the Darkness.[5] Jasen Rauch contributed to the writing of Breaking Benjamin’s song, "I Will Not Bow," the lead single from Dear Agony. The song is featured within the trailer for the Bruce Willis action thriller, Surrogates.[6] Jasen remixed the Family Force 5 song, "Radiator" for the remix album, Dance or Die with a Vengeance[7][8] Jasen also produced the Distance EP by The Wedding.
